How to write a song about an abusive ex-boyfriend?

My first boyfriend was abusive and was a cheater. I'm trying to write
a song about it.

He's seventeen
Blonde hair, green eyes
Abusive (of course)
Cheater (another obvious one)
His name is Ian

I was looking for some things that might be symbolic to the abuse?
